I have been really busy over the last couple of months with conference presentations, new projects and a 5 month old baby at home. I didn’t get a chance to share the exciting news that I have been chosen as one of the founding members of the Citrix Technology Advocate group. The CTA group is brand new and was just announced at this years Citrix Synergy event in Las Vegas. The Citrix CTP group is one of the greatest tech community groups in the world, its’s an elite group of 50 techies. This group has been kept exclusive to only 50 awardees each year but some in Citrix and the CTP group itself felt it would be valuable to introduce a new award tier to gather insight from a wider audience. And thus the CTA group was born!
Working in the application space with such a large focus on App-V throughout my career has meant I have spent quite a lot of time working with XenApp. Over recent years I have also become much more active with other Citrix products like AppDNA, XenDesktop and XenServer whilst working on Windows migration projects, XenApp migration projects and VDI implementations. Over the last year I have helped lead the Phoenix Citrix User Group with my colleagues Steve Greenberg and David Gautney, I also had the pleasure of providing some product feedback directly to Citrix.
I feel very proud to be recognized by a company I have admired for so many years.
Check out that list of awardees! I’m in great company. I can’t wait to see what the year ahead will bring.
As always, thanks to those of you who view my site and continue to support me.
